No pictures today, just a progress report. We're in Pecos, Texas. The speed limits out here in west Texas are high. The limit on I-10 west of San Antonio is 80 mph, and on a secondary road, US 285 that we used to get us to Pecos, the speed limit was 75. That speed messed with the mileage of my Prius, as does the ethanol that they lace the gasoline with out here in the west. My mileage on my last tank was a mere 35.9 mpg. But we made good time. Tomorrow, we're going to Carlsbad Caverns, that is if the weather be good.
