First day of car trip west with my brother, Kenny. It was dreary weather all day, but we got a little clearing around sunset. Got a picture of some red clouds at sunset, and a picture of our waitress at the Chinese restaurant where we ate dinner.

For those who've been following my other blog, http://henryandcarolynsecondhoneymoon.blogspot.com here's the next chapter of my life.
For the most part, for the two and a half months since Carolyn died, I've been sitting around the house watching TV. There have been some things that got me out and moving. My granddaughter, Ashley (see above), has been staying with me and keeping me from being a total TV freak. I've had dinner invitations from friends, a trip to New York with my brother to visit some cousins, and a trip to Connecticut to attend a Bar Mitzvah and visit some friends and relatives.

Now, I'm getting ready to drive back out to California. My brother is coming with me. I'll post a few blog entries from the road.
