I'm a member of a poetry club called Lunch Lines, so called because it meets at lunch time, but nobody actually eats at the meetings. Normally, when I post a bit of my writing, it's just, well, written. This time, I'm putting it here in the form of a poetry reading via YouTube. Here it is.
I hope this works.
This is the blog I started when Carolyn died. I had to stop blogging under Henry and Carolyn Farkas Second Honeymoon Blog so this is where I continued blogging once I decided to continue blogging. Now there's a new blog that's a strange kind of memoir that's also a bunch of random essays rather than photos with short essays. That one is Henry Farkas Memoir Blog

Derek and Janet's Wedding 9/7/2011
On September 7th, my eldest grandson, Derek, married his fiancee, Janet. The wedding was supposed to be held outdoors, at a very nice venue on the Chesapeake Bay.
Well, that didn't happen. It rained. The lady with the flowers switched them to the alternate (indoor) ceremony venue.
This is probably the moment when she realized she's have to set up in the indoor venue.
These are the real wedding photographers. I get a kick out of photographing photographers.
The guy on the right is my grandson, Derek, the groom.
These ladies ore on the bride's side of the family.
I love taking pictures of my granddaughter, Naomi.
My son, Brian.
The lady in light blue is my daughter-in-law, Lisa.
This is Tracey, the bride's daughter. Tracey was the flower girl.
The lady on the left, in the bridal gown, is Janet, the bride.
The kiss.

The Maryland Zoo at Baltimore
Here are some photos of a little family outing at the zoo.
When I go places with my family, I tend to take pictures of the family as well as of the place. Above, as my growing list of followers (it's up to 8 now) well know, is my granddaughter, Naomi.
Above are a few of the Zoo's residents.
